Abstract

The purposes of this paper are to develop and apply concepts from modern control theory to the comparative evaluation of highway vehicle-trailer systems. Their interpretation, applicability and application are demonstrated in terms of on of the more innovative and potentially competitive commercial tracking schemes: multiple-trailer highway vehicle trains.
