Abstract

With the help of traffic accident data of some provinces the problem of the unsafety of cycle paths on intersections is described. It is supposed that this unsafety is caused by the intersections' geometric design. About this design exist rather different opinions. These opinions are mentioned in this paper. Conclusions drawn from these opinions lead to formulation of some relevant hypotheses on this subject.
