Abstract

While up to very recently most car manufacturers have tried to fulfill the requirements for optimized passive safety in focussing their experimental and analytical research primarily upon the deformation characteristic of the frontal-100%-overlap- barrier collision we observe presently the tendency to reach a maximum safety in particular for the so called "offset-collision".
