Abstract

This article describes an analytical modelling method developed to provide a tool for evaluating the political effectiveness of alternative ambulance service location schemes for mixed urban and rural areas. It describes the application of the method in a specific semi-rural county situation; the Washtenaw County in Michigan, U. S. A.
