Abstract

ORIENT. a computer simulation model, which forecasts traffic flow on the basis of individual activity patterns and so-called community groups is presented. The model outputs the working-day passenger traffic within a defined planning area. The computer program is so constructed, that the characteristics of the model, such as the numbers of community groups, traffic modes and so on are variable.
