Abstract

The aim of this report is to develop an origin destination matrix for trips made by public transport which can be used for the calculation of the effects by modifications in the offer of public transport. Demand and offer, marketing data and periods of exploitation are implemented in the matrix. In particular when the frequencies of the trips differ strongly in the periods the design of more matrices is recommended. The trips of the origindestination address, which the public transport have as main transport, can be divided in three parts: the distribution for the before transport, the main transport, and the after transport. These three are together the distribution from origin address to destination address.
