Abstract

Accessibility is an important and recurring topic in the Dutch governmental transportation policy. This paper discusses the possibilities for quantifying the 'accessibility' notion, and the reasons why this should be pursued. A simple yet effective system is proposed to elaborate and assess accessibility measures. (A)
