Abstract
At the airbase Deelen, the view from the exit leading to the road is obstructed by the dense tree growth along this road. In this study the originally suggested solution for this problem, putting a convex traffic mirror across the road, was reconsidered in view of the image reductions resulting from such a mirror. It is concluded that, under the given circumstances, a convex mirror is not suited for the purpose. However, thanks to the fact that a reasonable part of the nearly road can be surveyed, a flat mirror might be used.
