Abstract

Data on accident involvement and traffic behaviour of young pedestrians, collected during the development of the educational programme ''Oversteken'' for preschool children, indicated that 6 to 7 year old children are often in accidents, that occur in a number of specific situations. Therefore it was decided to develop a number of lesson units for such children. The first presentation to the target group under experimental conditions is described.
