Abstract

The experiences of the casualty statistics supply the necessity for buckling up. This necessity exists for pacemaker patients, too. The crash experiments revealed that with an unprotected pacemaker, both skin injury and a shifting of the pacemaker were possible. The protection shield that has been developed for this reason can cope with all possible security demands as well as with the comfort of the patients.
