Abstract

This project was concerned with the problem of stopping sight distance SSD. In it, new research and reviews of earlier research were used to examine the follwoing elements of the general SSD model as applied to geometric design: a) driver eye height, b) obstacle height, c) driver perception-response time, d) vehicle braking distance, and e) initial vehicle speed.
