Abstract

In this paper, a detailed parametric study on the Translational Head Injury Model was conducted. The outcomes of this investigation indicated that adjustments on just a few lumped elements of the model can effectively change one response of the system with very small effects on the rest of the system. A design procedure for using the THIM model to match a similar shaped transfer function was proposed based on these findings.
