Abstract
An automobile in the class of the ESV family sedan was subjected to a series of accident avoidance tests in order to evaluate the effects of vehicle parameter changes on performance. Weight and suspension parameter variations were studied with respect to braking, steering, and overturning immunity. This volume of the report contains four appendices which describe the test vehicle, test facilities, test plans, and presents the data in the form of tables.
