Passenger car occupant restraint alternative demonstration and display : a consumer research study.

Abstract

The main objectives of the survey were to obtain consumer reactions to and preferences for various occupant restraints based upon perceptions of performance, convenience and overall usefuness. Respondents' restraint preferences were taken three times, before and after filmed demonstrations. The results are discussed.
