Abstract

This short article describes the work of the MAVIS (Mobility Advice and Vehicle Information Service) in the United Kingdom. Statistics are provided of the growth in the use of the service from 1985 to 1992, along with statistics of the type of disability that clients suffered from. Brief details are also provided about future developments and current research projects.
