Abstract

Acceleration time data in 25 squirrel monkeys subjected to controlled translation of the head as well as head rotation are presented. Visible brain lesions were noted in both translated and rotated group of animals but with a greater frequency and severity after rotation. The results of brain damage and head injury are discussed.
