Abstract

It is suggested that the relation between a man and his vehicle, far from being epidemiological, has the character of an extremely inefficient cybernetic device. Road safety demands a sustained degree of control which may tax a large proportion of drivers beyond the limit of their capacity. Therefore a new conception of driver training is a.o. proposed.
