Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 1940 examines how five states apply pavement management system data to monitor the performance of pavements under warranty, the development of customer-based standards for ride quality, ultrasonic technology to evaluate top-down cracks in asphalt pavement, accelerated fatigue tests on full-scale concrete slabs under constant cyclic loading, and more. Many of the papers contained in this volume were presented at the 84th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in January 2005. (Author/publisher)
