Abstract

The Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center and the Federal Highway Administration released a report that describes how communities can collect data about bicycle and pedestrian facilities in order to assist areas in improving the effectiveness of these facilities. This report examines 27 communities' activities to collect, analyse, and apply pedestrian and bicycle data. The case study approach taken in the report is designed to allow users to compare options appropriate to their communities. (Author/publisher)
