Abstract

The objective of the pedestrian injury causation study is to provide data wich will support rulemaking policies to reduce pedestrian fatalities and injuries. The pedestrian accident has been perhaps the least tractable of all accidents because of the gross mismatch wich occurs when the human and the vehicle collide.
