Abstract

While major reductions in pedestrian fatalities have occurred over the past two decades, there are clearly opportunities for further safety advances. This paper provides a brief review of some key lessons learnt from the authors' experience as safety researchers and from the many cases DVExperts have been involved in regarding pedestrian crash investigations and litigation cases.
