Abstract

Pedestrian-involved accidents constitute a significant proportion of all traffic accidents, and the number of injuries per accident in pedestrian accidents is approximately three times the number in other types of traffic accidents. Therefore, concrete steps should be taken in vehicle design in order to minimize pedestrian injury.
