This extract from the minutes of the proceedings of the Legislative Council presents the following recommendation with respect to pedestrians and street lighting: The standard of street lighting in Victoria should be immediately improved to standards Association of Australia Code Standard and particular reference should be paid to arterial and sub-arterial roads.
