Pedestrians at intersections.

Abstract

Various methods of pedestrian protection are discussed. A method of checking whether a given intersection can cope with an exclusive pedestrian phase is proposed. Overseas experience however have shown that bridges or tunnels are not used very often unless the traffic density is very high.
