Abstract

Research projects on pedestrians in town centres are summarized with various planning methods outlined. They include methods for the planning of separated pedestrian systems, localization of visiting points, pedestrian systems in mixed streets, bicycle systems in mixed streets, and optimal measures for the renewal of traffic systems in present mixed streets.
