Abstract
The Pennsylvania Transportation and Traffic Safety Centre conducts research in transportation systems, traffic safety, and road user characteristics in addition to coordinating academic programs related to transportation. Current major research activities are given which included o.a. roadway delineation systems, cost effectiveness studies of anti skid and deicing programs, analysis of infrared colour air photos and highway lighting needs.
