Abstract

It should always be taken into account that the analysis of traffic accidents is a psychological process as well, based on human judgements. This is clearly shown by comparing some official data and in- depth analysis in the causes of traffic accidents in Slovenia. It could be questioned whether such a prevalence of the human factor is real, when compared with the bad roads and the number of old vehicles. The present research is concerned with the problem of how different groups of road users perceive causes of accidents.
