Abstract

This behaviour of a wide range of road line markings laid on a heavily trafficked national Irish primary road is examined. The durability, reflectivity, skid resistance and colour were regurlarly monitored over 29 months. The results obtained identified deficient characteristics in materials and suggested ways by which some of these could be overcome.
