Abstract

The performance of seat-belt assemblies fitted on a anthropomorphic dummy in controlled impact tests is described. In the tests, light cars were made to crash into lighting columns. Three main types of assembly were tested: 1) full harness; 2) combined diagonal and lap belt; 3) diagonal belt only.
