Abstract

Photologging is an efficient method of data collection which provides a visual record and allows the extraction of a variety of data. The process involves the continuous filming of roadways and their environs, using movie cameras in an instrumented, moving vehicle. This paper describes a Computerized Information System which uses photologs as the basic data source.
