Abstract

This paper deals with a simplified photometric method that provides a basis for objective and relatively rapid evaluations of mechanical best performance op lighting devices. The performance of the device is evaluated by comparing the "before" and "after" measurement. Test results show that the photometric method, as it stands, is suitable for use with laboratory dust test, but that it requires further study and development before it can be used with moisture or corrosion tests.
