Abstract

An experiment to evaluate the exposure of male and female drivers in Hartford, and to compare the results with reported accident involvement, is described. A modified form of Thorpe's induced exposure method is applied to the data. A tentative conclusion is that the relative risk women was about 50% higher than for men.
