Abstract

Discussion of three plans of the Institute for Educational Development. I. Evaluating Programs Characteristics. It concerns the quality of the learning experience provided by the program and focuses in the programs' openness and capacity to "grow". II. Evaluating Driver Proficiency. Employs a test of driver proficiency, derived from required real-world behaviour by expert opinion. III. Validating Program Effectiveness. Utilizes a validated test of driver proficiency to examine a broad range of influences and interventions.
