Abstract

This volume of the study contains an introduction to the evaluation of countermeasures and a brief summary of the results. Program plans for evaluation experiments are described briefly. These experiments include the six following categories: (1) road user regulation, (2) information flow, (3) road user preparation, (4) vehicle regulation,(5) system restoration, and (6) highway regulation. (See also B 3752 and B 3753).
