Abstract
An analysis of the problem of planning highway safety activities and a discussion of factor dictating the need for better communication of the findings from highway safety research. Recommendations include a more positive approach to the task of organizing and financing the highway safety effort and the firm establishment of responsibility for proper dissemination of our ever increasing knowledge of how to achieve highway safely.
