Abstract

Little systematic planning was tried in Jordan. The policy was to allocate all available for roads to construction and maintenance operations. Road builders are now planning and programming road projects, based on systematic socio-economic studies. Various efforts made in this field are listed and objectives, findings and recommendations are summarized.
