Abstract
This book is a collection of new approaches to increase highway safety through competent police management.These new approaches include new definitions of long-standing phenomena, new management theory, and new enforcement practices that are of proven value in increasing traffic safety. Undoubtedly, however, even newer approaches are forthcoming as local law enforcement agencies improve their competence to scientifically study such problems as traffic accidents.
