Police surveillance methods and police resource allocation models.

Abstract

Three models dealing with deployment of police forces and their allocation on the road network are described. The models are centred around the concept that it is a major aim of the traffic police in Israel to achieve a reduction in the number of road casualties, with special emphasis on the number of fatalities.
