Abstract

This deliverable forms the basis and start of the identification of feasible policy options to promote the market introduction and penetration of Intelligent Vehicle Safety Systems (IVSS). The outcome of this analysis will be recommendations for further activities to identify useful policies and instrument bundles for the most (societal) beneficial systems identified within eIMPACT. The different steps of this analysis are subsumed in work package 4000. The deliverable D5 presents the structure and the basic methodological approach for the whole WP 4000. It shows the positioning of the each task within the eIMPACT project and illuminates the relations to upstream and downstream workpackages. (Author/publisher)
