Abstract
An inquiry into accident occurrence and possible solutions was conducted amongst 1500 Bavarian police officers, who have been active in traffic service for many years. The questions dealt with road construction, traffic signs, technical shortcomings of accident vehicles, typical driving errors, road user education, traffic control, and emergency services. The results of the inquiry are presented.
