Portable breath alcohol analyzer by NDIR method.

Abstract

The features of the portable NDIR analyser for breath alcohol now developed by the authors are described. The features are: the measuring range of alcohol, concentration in breath, accuracy, atmospheric temperature, time of a measurement, electric source, necessary electric power, weight, and dimensions. After a button is pushed and breath is sampled into the instrument. The alcohol concentration in the breath is automatically indicated as digital figures and printed on a card within only 1 minute after sampling.
