Abstract

Various attempts to counteract acute ethanol effects have not been rewarding so far. Various reports from animal experiments suggest that ethanol sleep or ethanol aneasthesia is effectively counteracted with various more or less non-specific stimulants but these results refer to heavy ethanol intoxication only.
