Abstract

Pituitary-adrenal factors influence attentive behaviour. The Adreno-Cortico-Thophic Hormone (ACTH) fragment, ACTH 4- 10, improve vigilance and alertness in the first new studies in man. The relevance of this finding for driving performance is discussed.
