Abstract

The issues of personal security on Automated Guideway Transit Systems, as they might be deployed in typical urban residential and non-residential settings are addressed. Based upon a literature review basic characteristics of existing transit crime are outlined; station design concepts for AGT and conventional rail transit are compared. Traditional as well as innovative analysis techniques are covered.
