Abstract

The purpose of this research project was to develop a model for predicting running speeds on urban arterial streets. The major causes of stop delay and their average values were also evaluated as a supplement to the model, thereby using these results to estimate the change in average speed and delay time between an existing facility and a proposed or improved facility.
