Abstract

The FastForward set of predictive tools developed to cover many aspects of lamp design, development and testing is described. The tools consist of six components that evaluate packaging, analyse the structural integrity of a lamp design, provide thermal and venting analysis, simulate mould filling analysis, simulate optical design performance, and simulate aesthetic rendering.
