Abstract

Two tentative and inseparable conclusions emerge from the research and the conference. In the first place, highway safety education receives a decreasing share of the public-service-based time and space of preferable value, and less and less specialized attention in the news columns. Secondly a large residue of concern and interest on the part of media people still exists to be tapped along with a continuing dedication to resources in the initiation of such materials on the part of many organizations.
