Abstract

The purpose of this literature review was to develop a profile of the preschool accident victim, to identify the preschool child's developmental characteristics that affect his/her behaviour in traffic, to describe preschool pedestrian safety programs in the U.S. and abroad, and to describe the operation of non-traffic clubs and programs utilizing parent involvement.
