Abstract
It is becoming increasingly evident that road traffic accidents are a serious cause of mortality and morbidity in developing countries. The working group suggests ways of expanding the scope of this kind of meetings to take this subject into consideration in the future. The report sets out background information on organizations known to be active in the field of road accident prevention in Europe.
