Abstract

The basic aims of this paper were: to define maintenance strategies as guiding rules expressed mathematically and to delimit circumstances under which particular strategies are the best; to find the threshold value of the traffic volume which delimits the competent optimisation criteria; to establish the mathematical model for pavement quality management on a network as a whole, which can operate with data of low and high accuracy.
